Note: Housing on Fort Huachuca is highly competitive. The wait list to get into a home on-post can take up to 6 months depending on your rank. The rental market in Sierra Vista is also quite busy. The moment you have your official orders it is highly recommended you sort out your housing as early as possible prior to arrival.

The closest airport to Fort Huachuca is Tucson International. It is about an hour and twenty-five minute drive.
After arriving in Tucson International Airport it is your responsibility to get to Fort Huachuca.
If you do not have a POV, we recommend reserving a ride with Huachuca Shuttle on their website or use your preferred ride sharing app. Best practice is to reserve transportation as soon as you have your flight information. If you need a ride within 24 hours the Huachuca Shuttle line is 520-439-0439.
Save your receipt in order to be reimbursed upon arrival at your unit.
Phoenix Airport is roughly 3 hours away and not the recommended hub to access Fort Huachuca.
