The U.S Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) Military Intelligence Foreign Language Training Center (MIFLTC) is located in the Military Intelligence Library.

We recognize the importance of providing proficient linguists to respond to worldwide roles, missions and contingencies.

The USAICoE Command Language Program plays a vital role in facilitating foreign language refreshers, which sustain and enhance assigned linguists. We are the USAICoE foreign language subject matter experts with knowledge of resident, virtual web-based, and contract supported language training opportunities.

Additionally, we assist in scheduling language training that is tailored to meet both mission and individual requirements. We currently assist approximately 400 USAICoE enlisted linguists that are designated as a language dependent and language capable military occupational specialty.

We support foreign language training in nine different U.S. locations and provide worldwide language immersion training conducted in Africa, Asia, Europe, and in South America,

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to execute all language training and linguist development for the USAICoE MIFLTC.

We provide the highest level of foreign language education, training and evaluation methods to produce the best foreign language linguists in the U.S. Army. 

We generate highly trained, well-prepared linguists and Military Intelligence professionals to deploy, fight and win our nation’s war. These professionals provide excellent interpretation and translation skills to sustain land dominance by Army forces across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the joint force.
