
Serves as an extension of the Commanding General by providing impartial advice and independent assessments of the morale, welfare, and discipline of the Command through assistance, inspections, investigations and training in order to improve readiness of the Command.
Who can contact the IG?
Anyone can request assistance or action from the IG, if there is a U.S. Army interest. Many issues may not be appropriate for the IG, but the IG will assist in providing the information, or the agency that can assist you with your issue.
Be the eyes, ears, voice, and conscience of the USAICoE & Fort Huachuca Commander.
Inspectors General are impartial fact finders who, through due diligence and sound fundamentals in accordance with regulations, policies and standards, assist the chain of command to solve problems.
How the IG fulfills its role The IG uses four functions to fulfill its role and mission:
-Inspections
-Investigations
-Assistance
-Teaching and Training
These functions allow the IG to identify or respond to issues as appropriate.

From the traffic circle of Smith/Cushing/Winrow, come around to Smith Street, between ACS and the American Southwest Credit Union. Turn left on Rhea Avenue (before the blinking four-way). We are in the second to last building on your right.

Monday through Wednesday, and Friday 0830-1630
Thursday 1300-1630
Closed for lunch from 1130 to 1300, by appointment only during lunch hours
